BiographyEducated at Hele's School, Exeter, UK, University College, University of London (BSc Hons) and Macquarie University (MSc Hons, PhD). Previous employment includes positions with the Royal Devon & Exeter Eye Hospital, the Devon County Library, the Devon County Council Education Department, high school maths teacher for the NSW Department of Education, and for many years teaching physics at Macquarie University. Member of the Australian Physiological and Pharmacological Society, and the Institute of Physics, Chartered Physicist. Married to Ros, who is a high school teacher, with three adult children. Involved with radio communications for the emergency services, via WICEN (NSW) Inc., which is a part of the Volunteer Rescue Association of New South Wales. |
