Student Adviser Scheme
All members of the Physics teaching staff are available for advice on matters related to your progress and study at Macquarie, and can help with questions about the various course options that are available in the Department of Physics. You may either contact a staff member you know or visit the Physics Office in E7A-218, where you will be put in touch with an adviser.
Naturally all students are encouraged to seek advice and help whenever required.
Specialist advisers in the department are:
BSc/BA Programs
Program Director Dr James Downes is available to help and advise students about any of the Physics Department's BSc/BA programs (in Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics), as well as help with individual programs and any difficulties.
BOptTech Program
Program Director Associate Professor Judith Dawes is available for general information information about the BOptTech program, and to help advise students already enrolled in that degree program.
