Manuscripts Instructions for Authors - IWLC4, Sydney, 14-17 December 2004 The Proceedings of the 4th International Workshop on Laser Cleaning will be published by World Scientific Publishing Company, Singapore, as "Laser Cleaning II", Ed. D M Kane. In addition to the scientific and technical papers from the Workshop the book will include some review chapters generated from the Tutorial program of the meeting. The Proceedings will be a 9.00'' x 6.00" volume. This is one of the Proceedings formats described on the WSPC website.Electronic files of manuscripts, prepared according to the style guide/template, should be submitted either before or at the workshop, either by email or by CD. A pdf file will be required for distribution for reviewing purposes. Submissions should be substantively different than other publications, either already published or to be submitted elsewhere. There is no page limit but scientific and technical papers of up to 12 manuscript pages are expected (note the small page size translates to ~400 words per page of text). Review chapters will be longer. Submissions will be subject to peer review and revision may be required. There is no a priori undertaking to accept submissions for publication in the proceedings. Acceptance will follow normal journal-publication, peer-review standards. Final manuscript submissions are preferred as MS Word 6.0/7.0 files for PC, though the publisher can also accept MS Word 6.0/7.0 in Unix and Macintosh formats and Latex2e files for PC, UNIX and Macintosh formats. If the electronic file is in a format other than MS Word 6.0/7.0 for PC an additional pdf file of such manuscripts will be required by the editor for editorial consideration. The information for authors and file template for MS Word 6.0/7.0 for PC submissions are attached. Instructions etc, for Latex files can be found on the publishers website. Note: there are three separate links in each box describing 9.00"x 6.00" proceedings - (i) readme, (ii) instructions, and (iii) download (the latter is the template file). Please advise by return email if you plan to submit a manuscript to the proceedings. Further Information: |
